Singapore happens to be the safest country in Asia and among the safest in the world. This is according to the 2011 Mercer Survey on Quality of Living. Women can move around the city, even late at night, without fear.
This is reassuring for those who work late hours, enjoy partying, or are relocating with young daughters. However, it is the strict implementation of these laws that keeps the city safe for everybody.
With my expert opinion, garnered by at least ten first dates, first-hand interviews and extensive social media stalking, I will attempt to give an introductory understanding as to why dating in Singapore is such an awful mess.
